Mustapha Khattat and Marietta Wanner are the founders of L'ORIENT. Both are deeply interested in colors, shapes and spatial aesthetics. Together they spend as much time as possible in Morocco to understand the essence of Moroccan craftsmanship and to be inspired. A synergy that arose naturally!

Our team in Vienna, expanded by our daughter Jeanna, also devotes itself to special customer requests such as custom-made products and advises people on furnishing issues. Craftsmen's cooperations in Morocco are characterized by a friendly relationship. For more than a decade we have been developing home accessories and small pieces of furniture that are made entirely by hand.
